April Fools!

Our annual April Fool's Magician really fooled us all! The kids poured in the door ready to be amazed and our Magician didn't disappoint! We were all amazed! What a wonderful kid event.

TaeKwon Tikes In-House Tournament

35 kids worked extra hard and brought their A-Game to the in-house Tournament at Club MMA. Ages 4-7, these kids amazed the judges with their talent! Each child competed in Board Breaking, Ridehorse Motion Forms, Freestyle Forms and one division even Sparred!

In-House Mat Monster BJJ Tournament

Club MMA hosted an in-house BJJ tournament for all the kids in the Mat Monsters Program this past weekend. What a success!!! The kids were amazing. We saw some of the best grappling we've seen in months! The kids have been practicing extra hard and we want to acknowledge all of their dedication and hard work.

IFL FIghts - Club MMA 2--0

Saturday, February 27th, IFL made it's debut and two Club MMA fighters were able to be a part of it! Congratulations to fighters Nikolos Hoobler-Scherff and Eric Silz for their awesome wins, great attitudes and months of intense training!!

Nikolos Hoobler-Scherff fighting at 170 lbs. entered the cage and within seconds had a take-down ending on top where he finished his opponent due to TKO.




Eric Silz entered the cage at 155 lbs. and after a great clinch and several knees ended up falling into his opponents guard and worked his triangle. Match ended in the first round via tapout!

We are so proud to have these two men train at our Club. They are outstanding individuals! They not only work hard, but they are honorable, devoted and deserve the W's the earned!

BJJ Seminar with David Meyer

Club MMA hosted a seminar with Machado BJJ Black Belt David Meyer this past weekend. He was kind enough to come all the way in from warm San Francisco to cold Cincinnati for a great weekend of training.

Club head instructor Jeff Robison has been training with David for over 6 years now and it was great to see them both rolling on the mats this weekend. All of our students had a great time at the seminar and learned a lot. We were lucky to have David in as he is an exceptional teacher!

We boycotted winter and had a blast!

It was snowing outside, but inside Club MMA we were boycotting winter with a fun summer party! The kids warmed up with games and frisbee tosses, then cooled down with some red and blue sno cones. Check out those colored mouths!
